Terms of Service

Welcome to Piora (referred to as "the Service" or "we"). Please read these terms carefully before using the Service. By using or accessing www.piora.dev and app.piora.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
Piora is a self-hosted Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that enables users to manage application deployments, databases, domains, SSL certificates, and related infrastructure on their own servers through a web interface. Piora does not provide server hosting; users must supply their own servers.
2. Account Responsibilities
- You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including safeguarding your password
- All activities conducted through your account are your responsibility
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
3. Acceptable Use Policy
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of others
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or other users' systems
- Use the Service to send spam or conduct cyberattacks
- Engage in cryptocurrency mining or other resource-abusive activities
- Host illegal content or engage in illegal activities
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this policy.
4. Payment and Refunds
- Paid plans operate on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually
- Fees are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
- You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; differences will be prorated
- After cancellation, the Service remains active until the end of the current billing period
- Fees paid are non-refundable unless required by law
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing with advance notice
5. Service Availability and SLA
We strive to provide a stable and reliable service. For paid plans, we offer Service Level Agreement (SLA) guarantees corresponding to your subscription tier. Specific SLA terms and remedies are detailed in the respective plan descriptions.
The Service may experience temporary interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or force majeure events. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance whenever reasonably possible.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its content (including but not limited to software, designs, trademarks, and documentation) are the property of Piora or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Applications and data you deploy on the Service remain your property. We do not claim any ownership of your content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piora and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or profits
- Losses arising from service interruptions or delays
- Losses caused by third-party services or failures of your own servers
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
- You may terminate the Service at any time by deleting your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
- Upon account termination, we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except as required by law
- Applications deployed on your own servers are not affected by account termination but can no longer be managed through Piora
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website announcements in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court of Taiwan as the court of first instance.
